- Format:

- Population in vulnerable situations
- Objetive:
-

- Methodology:
-
The guide consists of a methodological framework (the COMENSI method), which begins in the embryonic stage of a project and develops until its completion and evaluation.
It consists of seven steps:
- identification,
- analysis,
- agreement,
- development,
- location,
- facilitation and
- monitoring.
In addition, a list of participatory tools that can be applied in this methodological framework is provided.
This is accompanied by case studies as examples of implementation.
- Opportunities and limitations:
-
The methodological framework is flexible and intuitive, although it must be followed from the first phase of the project and is therefore not applicable in later stages of development.
However, the participatory toolkit provided by this guide can serve as a useful resource regardless of its fit into the COMENSI methodological framework.
Following all the steps of the methodological framework requires considerable commitment by the facilitating agents, who must listen and be in direct contact with the community.
