Objetive:

Help members of community gardens assess and reinforce their positive social impact at the local level.

Methodology:

The toolkit consists of three reflection exercises:

  • a focus group,
  • a survey of community garden members, and
  • a neighbourhood-level survey.

Each exercise collects different complementary information.

Opportunities and limitations:

This is a very comprehensive, structured guide, which provides instructions and recommendations to implement all the proposed tools, templates and reference questionnaires.

Depending on the characteristics and objectives of the garden, all three reflection exercises can be carried out, or just one or two.
