Baptism of sail

The July 23, 2024 has taken place the presentation of the program «Baptism of sail» of Barcelona's Deputation, that socialitza the sport of the sail among more of 40.000 pupils.

Barcelona's the Deputation has fixed, as a one of his strategic lines, promote active and inclusive surroundings at the public room so much at the natural medium how at the urban. Our coast conforms one of the privileged natural rooms to develop learnings and activities that improve the gaudi personal and the environmental respect.

Another of our strategic lines is to lean at the events international sports that take place at the province of Barcelona. Since the August and until ends of October of 2024, Barcelona will be the headquarters of the 37th Cup of the America, one of the more sportive events tracked all over the world, how are it the Olympiads.

 

To give response at these two lines, and let a sportive legate of the Cup America have articulated a new program nicknamed “Baptism of sail” has as a aims:

  • Announce and augment the practice of the sail, by means of the implication of schools at the program and the promotion of the capacities of the entities of the sector
  • Promote active and inclusive surroundings for the sportive practice
  • Further the promotion of the sports of sea, mediambientalment sustainable
  • Create fans for the sports of sail among girls and youngsters
  • Harden the installations of the province that promote sports of sail

Jornades d’esport adaptat: modalitat de vela

Des de fa 12 anys, la Diputació de Barcelona organitza les jornades d’esport adaptat per a persones amb necessitats especials.

Suport al programa “Aventura blava”

Permetrà que, 10.000 alumnes de quart de primària de tota la província, de manera gratuïta, puguin gaudir cada any, d’una pràctica de vela complementada amb una part teòrica en un dels ports de la Costa Barcelona.

Recull les activitats dels 24 municipis de la costa des del 22 d’agost fins al 31 d’octubre.

Difusió i promoció dels esports de mar

Des de les diferents xarxes de l’Àrea d’Esports i Activitat Física, creació de continguts específics per al programa, merchandising (gorres, bosses, clauers, etc) o des d’espais físics com les platges o el Village de la Copa de  l'Amèrica, així com la promoció del Museu Marítim, del Museu del Mar de la Diputació de Barcelona, entre d'altres.

Presencia juntament amb Barcelona és molt més i d’altres Àrees de la Diputacio de Barcelona en l’espai institucional i durant tota la competició. S’oferiran tallers familiars per activitats.
