Registration open for the online course “Localizing the Sustainable Development Goals: Tools for Local Transformation”
The Barcelona Provincial Council, together with UCLG, through the Observatory on Decentralized Cooperation and UCLG Learning, are launching the online course “Localizing the Sustainable Development Goals: Tools for Local Transformation”.
This course responds to the growing demand from Local and Regional Governments (LRG) around the world on how to address the challenge of adopting the 2030 Agenda and achieving the SDGs in their territories. In this sense, this course aims to train and provide tools to LRG and its associations to adapt and implement the SDGs at the local level to technical and political managers in the fields of public policy planning, international relations, cooperation as well as other work areas related with the implementation of the 2030 Agenda.
To facilitate access to as many countries as possible and promote diversity among participants, the course will be taught in Spanish, English and French simultaneously. The course is completely free for participants as the costs are borne by the promoting entities, and will be held from September 30 to December 22, 2019. The number of places is limited to 35 per modality.
The deadline to submit applications is on September 17. For more information about the course content and admission criteria, visit the following link.
