La Diputació de Barcelona disposa d’un important fons historicoartístic fruit de diverses donacions, llegats, compres i adquisicions històriques. Moltes d’aquestes peces es troben en espais d’ús públic, integrades en la vida i l’entorn ciutadà. Són peces de tothom.
Són escultures, relleus, patrimoni industrial o pintures que volem posar-les en valor i oferir informació addicional a la ciutadania. Que una peça estigui en un espai determinat ens pot ajudar a comprendre el significat que va donar l’autor o autora i també copsar el moment històric o el motiu de la seva creació.
